ART CAMP KENYA

ART CAMP 2025

In early August 2025, ArtCamps were held for the second time in two local villages – Kapiyo and Ndere, in western Kenya.

Around 200 children took part again, divided into different age groups where they play games, learn songs, discuss the Bible, and young people can also hear various testimonies about life with God. Every day, artistic and sports workshops are prepared for them according to their interests.

The entire camp was connected by a joint project across all artistic disciplines and Biblical programmes under the theme: We are creating A NEW THING. Our intention was to make ourselves available to God, so that He would create A NEW THING in us and with us (Isaiah 43:19).

The organisation was shared between two teams – the Kenyan team and the 'European' team (mostly Czechs and Lizzie from the UK), which worked excellently. We had the opportunity to inspire one another, learn to work together, and this brought nothing but positives in the work with children. We are grateful for that!
